Ergonomic and lightweight, the synthetic stock is designed for quick, easy handling, and blends a classic look with modern forend contouring and grip serrations. The soft rubber buttpad is crafted for maximum recoil reduction. The heavier tapered cold hammer-forged alloy steel barrel is threaded (5/8”-24) with installed thread protector, and provides ultra-precise rifling for exceptional accuracy and longevity. Patented Power Bedding™ is an integral bedding block system which positively locates the receiver, and free-floats the barrel for outstanding accuracy.

The factory-installed 4-12x44 Vortex® Crossfire II® riflescope features the Dead-Hold BDC reticle, mounted on a factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base. Offering a crisp release, the Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger has a user-adjustable pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds, allowing shooters to make that perfect shot. The one-piece three-lug bolt with 70° throw provides ample scope clearance, and utilizes a full-diametre bolt body and dual cocking cams for smooth, easy cycling from the shoulder. The accessible easy-to-actuate tang safety provides instant security. Also includes one magazine and sling swivel studs.
