The Shakespeare Ugly Stik GX2 Spincast Combo includes the strong, yet light, Ugly Stik GX2 rod. The GX2's Ugly Tuff™ Guides yield maximum durability and reduce the rod's overall weight. The Shakespeare Ugly Stik GX2 rod is paired with a Shakespeare Synergy Steel™ 10 Spincasting Reel or Synergy TI Micro Spincast Reel. The Synergy Steel 10 has a polished stainless steel front cone line guide, one steel pick-up pin and metal gears for increased durability. The Synergy TI Micro has a polished stainless steel front and rear cover, titanium line guide, gear-driven, adjustable multidrag system and Insta-Grab™ dual titanium pick-up pins. Both reels are pre-rigged with Stren® line.
