The Smith & Wesson Model 1854 is a lever-action rifle chambered in .44 Magnum that boasts a modern feature set. It includes an 11/16-24 threaded barrel compatible with mounts using Marlin® 1894 hole patterns, sights like a gold bead front sight and an XS Sights ghost ring rear sight for improved target acquisition, and a 1:20" RH twist with 8-groove rifling in the barrel for optimal bullet stability. The rifle is further enhanced by a large loop operating lever for easy cycling and a forged 416 SS receiver for a strong and durable platform.
