The Bass Pro Shops Extreme STK Spinning Rod incorporates new technology that makes it stronger and more sensitive than any traditionally-built fiberglass rod. Its solid fiberglass core is topped with 2 different-slanted glass woven fiber layers, plus a bias-angled carbon tape wrap between the layers, giving you the power of reinforced fiberglass, with the backbone and vibration transmission of carbon. It tests 15–30% stronger than other glass rods and comes fitted with PVD-coated stainless steel guides and inserts for smooth, quiet casting.
