When you've found your fishing spot, just press the button and Minn Kota's® silent and smooth Talon™ Anchor lowers down to 12-feet to deliver the strongest hold on the water. The Talon moves into position twice as fast and it holds your position with twice as much force as other pole anchors. It has a control panel with a deploy button, but you can also control it with the included wireless remote. It can also be deployed using the included foot pedal, your Humminbird® fish finder or the free app on your smartphone. The Talon has three different anchoring modes: Auto-Drive for most situations; Soft Bottom Mode hold when the bottom is muddy and Rough Water Mode holds against windy and choppy conditions. During rough-water situations, Talon's built-in floating suspension allows your boat to move up and down with the waves without letting go. At the end of the Talon is a virtually indestructible anchoring spike that's made to withstand decades of abuse. Pivoting-able design features corrosion-resistant, saltwater-tough engineering. Other features include a built-in work light, LED depth indicator, and a deployment notification that sounds if you try to move while anchored.
