Patented Heat Shield™ tips defy the effects of aerodynamic heating and retain their shape while maintaining superior accuracy and extreme consistency from bullet-to-bullet and lot-to-lot. This revolutionary new tip creates the perfect tip profile. Upon impact this thin nose section of the bullet peels back and sheds material until it reaches the thick shank of the bullet jacket where the Interlock® ring works to keep the core and jacket together. The remaining shank of the bullet continues to drive forward and expand for extrememly lethal results. When combined with the secant ogive, optimum boattail design, AMP® bullet-jacket technology and precision swaged lead cores, the result is unmatched accuracy, deep penetration and large wound cavities.
