The lightning-strike counter displays the running total of detected strikes and provides an estimated distance to the thunderstorm (up to 25 miles). The crisp, illuminated HD display allows you to easily toggle between outdoor weather, indoor conditions, and daily records for each of the readings. Plus, the weather dashboard displays your local forecast for the next 12 hours. To ensure the greatest accuracy, you can use the calibration options for temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure. Customize alerts for temperature, humidity, wind speed, rainfall, and more. This AcuRite weather station automatically updates for Daylight Saving Time and features an alarm-clock function. The sleep mode dims the brightness of the dashboard, showing only vital information at your desired time. The all-weather, self-emptying rain gauge transmits data every 18–36 seconds from up to 330'.
