A reborn bolt-action rifle for dedicated hunters, the Sako 90 Hunter is designed specifically for traditional game hunts.

The popular Hunter stock fulfills the desire for a straightforward yet elegant wood stock, for hunting versatility. The Grade-II oiled walnut stock is complemented by stainless steel metal components. A slightly-raised cheekpiece and pistol grip provide optimal shooting ergonomics. The match-grade cold hammer-forged Hunter barrel offers out-of-the-box accuracy, with its profile providing optimal weight and balance for easy control.

The new Optilock receiver provides a clear view through open sights, while ensuring reliable optics mounting (not included). The rigid receiver is designed to minimize contact area between the bolt and receiver, to achieve ultimate accuracy and smooth operation. The ejection port enables top-loading of the magazine, ideal for situations requiring a quick response. State-of-the-art Sako firing mechanisms provide increased accuracy through world-leading lock time, with a clean and crisp adjustable trigger operation. Choose from up to five different weight-of-pull settings – no disassembly required. The trigger blade position is also adjustable. One of the most reliable and field-tested bolts, the Sako bolt ensures maximum safety and robust push-feed operation. All Sako 90 rifles have a three-locking-lug design, and the locking lug surface area has been optimized to ensure maximum lug surface area for all calibres.
