Abrasion-resistant toe caps and heel counters provide additional protection from sharp rocks and other ground-level hazards. Shock-absorbing ethylene vinyl actetate (EVA) midsoles help soften the abuse from rough trails, while the Overland II’s removable, contoured, open-cell foam insoles support and cushion feet for less foot fatigue over long hikes.
