The new Browning X-Bolt Target MAX was developed optimized for long range target shooting and competition. It’s ready to rock the range, right from the box.

The foundation of this solid rifle is a stabilizing full-diametre receiver, made heavier and more rigid than ever before: the rear bridge area is now 200% thicker than the original X-Bolt. An alignment flat is machined into the receiver (drilled & tapped) to aid scope alignment/leveling, with a pinned recoil lug to ensure precise orientation. The top Picatinny rail provides 20 MOA, and is secured with four oversized screws and an additional pin to prevent shifting.

The MAX matte black stock provides versatility to customize, with an adjustable comb height and length-of-pull spacers. A vertical pistol grip is comfortable standing, seated and prone, and allows for an easy reach. The stainless steel bull barrel has a Satin Gray finish, and is fluted to reduce weight and increase surface area for faster heat dissipation. It’s topped with a Recoil Hawg muzzle brake (threaded 5/8”-24), which effectively reduces felt recoil for optimal shooting comfort. The forend features a removable bottom receiver for accessories, which will be solidly secured thanks to three mounting points. An extended bolt handle to reduce opening forces

Experience the all-new Browning® Target DLX Trigger (patent pending), which helps ensure a light touch. The three-lever design has zero creep, takeup, or overtravel, and a glass-like break. Adjustable with a range of 2-3.3 lbs (factory-set at 2.5 lbs). X-Bolt Target models also utilize the Xtra Capacity Magazine System for AICS (Accuracy International Chassis System) pattern magazines. The front of the magazine well can also be used as a barrier stop.
