The Maxus II is built on the success of its original, and offers a new look and more features for improved ergonomic comfort, reliability, performance, and speed. It’s just as suitable on the range as it is in the middle of a marsh or muddy field.

The new redesigned composite stock sports a non-glare matte finish, and features a SoftFlex cheek pad and 1.5”-thick Inflex 2 recoil pad for ultimate comfort. Overmoulded rubber panels on the stock and forearm help improve grip for any conditions. To fit more builds, the stock can be trimmed up to ¾”. Trim dimensions and excellent balance create a smooth swing. The perfectly-tuned Power Drive Gas System is fast, smooth, and supremely reliable, for efficiency and reduced felt recoil. The Lightning Trigger has a smooth crisp feel with minimal travel, with lock times averaging up to 24% faster than others. The new trigger guard design is ramped to make for easy loading. A brushed nickel Teflon coating covers the bolt, bolt slide, shell carrier, bolt release button, and cocking handle, providing added corrosion protection, lubricity, and easier cleaning.

Additional features include: new aluminum alloy receiver styling; new oversized bolt release and bolt handle; lightweight tubular magazine; new screw-on magazine cap; fully-chromed barrel bore chamber finish for increased durability and corrosion resistance; front fibre optic HiViz Tri-Comp sight and ivory mid-bead sight; matte blued swivel studs; and three Invector-Plus choke tubes (F,M,IC).
