Introducing the first Ruger-made Marlin: the Model 1895 SBL. Expect the same time-honoured design as the traditional 1895, backed by Ruger’s trusted reputation of producing high-quality reliable firearms.

The new durable laminate stock and forend feature an improved finish, refined fit, and thinner forend size, altogether offering better ergonomics and an attractive aesthetic. Sharp checkering on the grip panels provides a sure hold to succeed in any element. A soft rubber buttplate effectively absorbs recoil.

The threaded stainless steel barrel has a match-polished factory-installed thread protector (11/16” x 24), ready for accessories. Cold hammer-forging results in ultra-precise rifling for exceptional accuracy and longevity. The ghost ring rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation. The tritium fibre optic front sight offers day/night high visilbility, for fast target acquisition in any light. Spiral fluting and nickel plating of the bolt adds a distinctive elegant look, and creates a smoother action. The receiver, lever, and trigger guard are all CNC-machined from 416 stainless steel forgings. Additional features include: an upgraded Picatinny rail provides a stable mounting surface for scope rings and optics; six-round tubular magazine with loading gate; positive push-button cross-bolt manual safety with traditional half-cock hammer; oversized lever loop; sling swivel studs; offset hammer spur.
