Improving upon the legendary Weatherby® Mark V platform, the new Mark V Hunter is fitted with a freshly-designed stock, echoing the shape and ergonomics of the Backcountry 2.0 family.

The Mark V Advanced polymer stock comes in Urban & Black Speckle finish, with a flat-bottomed forend, ambidextrous palm swells, and aluminum pillar construction. The barreled action (threaded 1/2x28) is sealed under a shell of Cobalt Cerakote to shield from the elements. A deeply-fluted bolt with removable knob clears dust and debris, and reduces weight and the bearing surface within the action for a smooth operation. For an ultra-strong action, the Mark V has a signature multi-lug bolt system inspired by the interrupted thread style of lockup. Other safety features include three rings of steel surrounding the base of the cartridge, a fully-enclosed bolt shroud, and three gas relief ports in the bolt body for any necessary additional pressure ventilation. The short 54-degree bolt allows for faster chambering on follow-up shots, and greater bolt-to-scope clearance.

The adjustable TriggerTech trigger provides true zero-creep break and short over-travel. The precision-cut stainless steel components are corrosion-resistant, and help ensure safe and reliable consistent pulls. Mark V rifles are guaranteed to shoot a three-shot group of .99” or less at 100 yards (SUB-MOA), from a cold barrel when used with Weatherby factory or premium ammunition. Accessories Sold Separately.
