WINNIPEG, Manitoba - Cabela’s Canada announces today its relocation of the company’s corporate office within Winnipeg to a newly renovated 70,000-square-foot location at 25 De Baets St.

The move is a result of Cabela’s rapid growth in Canada and a need to expand beyond its existing 30,000-square-foot office located in Winnipeg. Cabela’s Canada employs a staff of 200 people at its corporate headquarters. The move is expected to be completed in February.

"Cabela’s Canada is growing at an exciting rate, which requires larger, more improved facilities for our corporate staff,” said Darin Brecht, Cabela’s Canada’s director of finance. “The new Canadian headquarters will allow us to operate more efficiently and effectively so we can continue to provide the legendary customer service in our retail stores and online at cabelas.ca.”

Cabela’s Canada was established in 2007 and currently operates nine retail stores with locations in Winnipeg; Nanaimo, B.C.; Barrie, Ont.; Saskatoon and Regina, Sask.; Moncton, N.B.; Calgary, Alta. and two in Edmonton, Alta. The company previously announced its expansion with stores opening in Abbotsford, B.C. and Ottawa, Ont. in 2016, and in Halifax, N.S. in 2017.
