11 AM - 1 PM - Fishing Workshop

  • Gear: rods and reels, types of fishing lines, knots, lures, bait
  • Fishing license
  • Fish-finding techniques
  • Manitoba species, including smallmouth bass, channel catfish, crappie, and walleye
  • Spring fish movements at various depths
  • Water temperature and weather conditions
  • Strategies for finding fish from shore or boat
  • Successful fishing presentations
  • Proper fish handling with CPR (Catch, Photo, Release) to help sustain our Manitoba fisheries
