Lightweight and packable, the shell of the Guidewear Rainy River® Parka with GORE-TEX® PacLite® is both breathable and waterproof thanks to fully sealed seams and a GORE-TEX membrane. Water-repellent, oversized handwarmer pockets are placed higher up so they're easier and more comfortable to use when you're wearing a backpack. The zippered chest pocket is also water-resistant so items you need to access quickly, such as a cell phone, matches and more, are protected from the elements. Front zipper has double-storm-flap weather protection with a zipper garage. When the weather clears up, simply pack it down into the included stuff sack.
